Current workspace
A working loop from question to reusable output
InsightPilot is not just a chat box. The product keeps conversations, query outputs, dashboards, reports, sources, setup, and provider configuration in one browser workspace.
Ask and inspect
Chat requests stream progress, show operational traces, return readable answers, and expose SQL and table results when database agents are used.
Save and reuse
Useful results can become saved sources, dashboard sections, or report blocks without losing the original question, answer, SQL, or table view.
Build deliverables
Dashboards combine source and Markdown blocks. Reports render server-side, refresh their sources, and export as Markdown, text, HTML, or PDF.
How it works
From governed setup to business-facing output
Add agents
Create managed data agents for SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, MYOB, Xero, or Zoho from the Store, or register external HTTP agents.
Select tables
Choose the tables each database assistant can use, then generate schema context from approved sources only.
Ask questions
The API server orchestrates routing, retries, agent calls, direct answers, and concise status traces.
Publish outputs
Keep chat history, sources, dashboards, and reports in the local library for repeated operational workflows.
What is included
Built for internal operators and technical owners
The current product combines a Go API server, React browser UI, managed database agents, a provider Store, saved library items, and a terminal CLI for teams that need useful answers without hiding operational controls.
Hosted setup
Configurable without turning every user into an admin
Technical owners can manage providers, agent instances, prompts, context documents, and workspace settings while day-to-day users stay focused on questions and deliverables.
Provider Store
Add, configure, test, enable, disable, set defaults, and delete LLM providers. Keys are protected and masked in API and UI responses.
Managed data agents
Launch database agents from templates. Managed agents can use the API server provider store for SQL generation and summarisation.
Trust and control
Guardrails for operational data access
Read-only validation
Database agents reject write operations, procedural execution, comments, unknown tables, and risky unbounded result lists.
Approved schema context
Teams select available tables before schema context is generated, so agents work from intentionally exposed database structure.
Operational visibility
Status checks, audit logs, setup screens, editable context, and agent documents keep configuration and troubleshooting visible.
Deployment controls
Bearer token support, read-only database accounts, managed provider settings, and controlled workspace storage fit internal environments.
